PKSF to reduce energy consumption by 50pc
Monday, 30 March 2026
Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) has decided to reduce fuel consumption by 50 percent in order to cope with the situation created by the instability of fuel oil in the global market.
This decision will be applicable to all officials including the Chairman and the Managing Director of PKSF, reports UNB.
In the existing situation, several steps have been taken to use public transport instead of office vehicles and to conduct official activities in the most energy-efficient way possible, said the financial institution on Sunday.
As part of these, PKSF officials at all levels will use public transport instead of office vehicles to commute for official work in Dhaka and outside Dhaka.
In addition, instructions have been given to use air conditioners (AC) in office buildings to a limited extent and to exercise restraint in electricity consumption.
