Planned road networks being developed: Jhantu

RANGPUR, Nov 02 (BSS): Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) Alhaj Sarfuddin Ahmed Jhantu has said well-planned communication networks are being developed to turn Rangpur into a modern city.
He said this while launching construction works of four roads and drainage systems at GL Roy Road, Shalbon Mistripara and Shialur Mour areas under Ward No-24 and Ward No-25 at separate ceremonies here as the chief guest yesterday, a press release said this afternoon.
The Mayor also renamed the Shalbon Mistripara Road after the name of valiant freedom fighter Alep Uddin Sarker to pay honour to his heroism and courageous contribution to war of liberation in 1971.
