Planning Commission finalises proposal to cut ADP by Tk 40b

The Planning Commission Wednesday finalised its proposal to cut Annual Development Programme (ADP) by Tk 40.0 billion to Tk 225.0 billion from the original allocation of Tk 265.0 billion for the 2007-08 fiscal, reports UNB.
An extended meeting of the Commission finalised the proposal for the revised ADP for consideration by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC), said a senior official who attended the meeting.
Finance and Planning Adviser Dr Mirza Azizul Islam chaired the meeting at his office. Planning Commission members and secretaries of Finance, Planning, ERD and IMED were also present.
