Planning Commission sits tomorrow to finalise ADP

The Planning Commission (PC) will sit tomorrow (Friday) to finalise the Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the next fiscal year of 2007-08.
The vice-chairman of the PC, Finance and Planning Adviser Mirza Azizul Islam, will preside over the meeting.
After finalisation of the ADP, the commission will place it before the government's National Economic Council (NEC) for its approval. The NEC meeting is likely to be held in the first week of next month, official sources said.
An official with the Planning Division told the FE that they had been working for few days to complete the draft ADP before placing it in the commission
