Planning Minister seeks more IMF assistance

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday sought necessary credit assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for various development projects to build skilled manpower. The minister made the request when IMF resident representative MS. Eteri Kvintradze met him at his office at city's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the evening. AHM Mustafa Kamal said the economy of Bangladesh would surely move ahead in the next five years and urged the IMF resident representative to come up with more investment in Bangladesh with a liberal attitude, according to a news agency.
