Planning Minister visits Beximco Industrial Park

Planning Minister Air Vice Marshal (retd) AK Khandaker visited Beximco Industrial Park Saturday to see the state-of-the-art factories of Bextex Ltd and Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd.
Beximco Group Chairman ASF Rahman welcomed the minister. Bextex Group Director & CEO Mr Syed Naved Husain made a presentation to update the minister on Beximco's strategy to compete in the international market, said a press release.
The planning minister visited Bextex's Design & Product Development Center and was pleased to see the wide range of high quality products developed by Bextex for major international buyers.
He also visited several textile units of Bextex Ltd and was very enthusiastic to see the specialized machines designed and manufactured by Beximco's advanced engineering group.
The minister also visited Shinepukur Ceramics operations and was impressed to see the high quality of Bone China crockery being manufactured at the world class plant and being exported to the world's most famous brands such as Royal Doulton & WedgeWood.
