Planning Minister visits CVO Petrochemical

CHITTAGONG, Aug 10: Planning Minister AHM Mostafa Kamal visited the country's lone public limited refinery company in the energy and mineral resources sector, CVO Petrochemical Refinery, factory at Bayezid Industrial Area in the port city Saturday.
The minister expressed satisfaction over the overall management of the factory and compared it with the Petrochemical Refinery of Malaysia. He encouraged the management to export petrochemicals and import condensate. He expressed all-out support from the ministry to the plant.
JSD lawmaker Moinuddin Ahmed Khan Badal, chief adviser of CVO Petrochemical Refinery, its chairman Shamsul Alam Shamim, managing director AHM Habib Ullah, deputy managing director Nizam Uddin Mahmud Hossain, Janata Bank director Prof Moinuddin, Rupali Bank director Abu Sufian, independent director of the company Prof Imam Hossain Chowdhury, director Masuk Imtezam and chief consultant engineer AFM Ishaque were present on the occasion.
