Planning Ministry to arrange dev fair soon

The Planning Ministry is going to organise the country’s first-ever development fair, aiming to engage people from all walks of life in development activities.
The Development Fair 2014 will be arranged either at the end of the current month or early next month, according to a news agency.
The decision came at a meeting chaired by Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal at the NEC auditorium Tuesday, said a handout.
During the fair, which may be of 3-5 day’s one, open discussions will be held with representatives of all walks of life about their own development thoughts and ideas in its various sessions every day, the Planning Minister said.
He said suitable action plans for the people of all classes will be taken in the 7th Five-Year Plan following the open discussions.
Representatives from NGOs, the business community, media, banks, civil society, marginal groups and all other classes and professions will join the fair, Mustafa Kamal said.
