NEW YORK, Apr 28: A plethora of changes are in the offing and one has already been effected. President Obama is set to change his war council. He also produced his birth certificate for public view to dispel the controversy that he was not born in America therefore not eligible to be the US president. Two rival Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas in a peace accord brokered by the interim Egyptian government announced their decision to merge into one single group. A Harvard scholar Lobsang Sangay has been elected prime minister of Tibet to replace the spiritual leader Dalai Lama. India has expressed its determination to go ahead with its plan of big expansion of its nuclear energy capacity despite disaster in Japan. Leon Panetta, the incumbent CIA chief, will become the defence secretary. Gen. David Petraeus, US and NATO commander in Afghanistan will be the next CIA director. Defence Secretary Roberts Gates and Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff both President Bush appointee will retire. James Steinberg, deputy secretary of state and an expert on China will leave opting for an academic post. President Obama displayed his birth certificate to dispel controversy raiseed by Donald Trump a Republican presidential nominee hopeful that Obama was not born in America and therefore is not eligle to be the US president Secular Fatah movement and Islamist group Hamas in Palestine signed a deal to resolve the dispute that split the Palestine national movement for four years. Pakistan is said to be goading Afghanistan to lean towards China after the US begins its troops withdrawal.
