PM again rules out possibility of snap polls

Apparently ruling out the possibility of any early election as demanded by BNP and some other parties, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday said the next national election would be held in due time as the tenure of the government is for five years constitutionally. The Prime Minister was replying to a volley of questions at a press conference organised at her official residence Ganobhaban in the afternoon to brief the media about the outcome of her recent UAE tour, according to a news agency.
