PM arrives in Cox\\\'s Bazar to open Int\\\'l Cricket Stadium

Prime Minister Shiekh Hasian arrived in Cox's Bazar on Sunday morning. The premier will open Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar town in the afternoon. Once inaugurated, the newly-constructed stadium will be the third biggest cricket venue in the world. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Cox's Bazar International University. Built on 25 acres of land adjacent to Cox's Bazar Parjatan Golf Course, Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium is expected to accommodate one hundred thousand (100,000) spectators and Cox’s Bazar, which also holds the largest beach in the world, will be open to new horizons. It will be a green stadium with the facilities of natural resources. The Prime Minister will also address rally at the stadium at around 2:15pm. Concerned authorities said they have completed all due preparations for opening of the stadium. During her visit in the tourist district, Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate some other projects, according to private TV channels.
