PM condoles Azizul Islam Khan\\\'s death

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday expressed deep shock at the death of elderly politician and president of the advisory council of Ganotantri Party Azizul Islam Khan. In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said Azizul Islam Khan was a dedicated politician. The nation will always remember his contribution to the movement for restoration of democracy and establishing the people’s right to vote and food. She prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her profound sympathy to the bereaved family members. Azizul Islam Khan died today at his Barhatta village home in Netrakona district, according to UNB.
