PM condoles death of Tangail MP

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed deep shock at the death of Showkat Momen Shahjahan, a valiant Freedom Fighter and Member of Parliament from Tangail-8 constituency.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister recalled his contribution to the War of Liberation and to democratic movements of the country, according to a news agency.
“With his death, the nation has lost a dedicated, honest and patriotic leader,” she said.
Sheikh Hasina prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her sincere sympathy to the bereaved family members.
