PM condoles deaths of two AL leaders

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has mourned the deaths of founder general secretary of Jubo League Syed Ahmad and Mymensingh Municipality mayor Advocate Mahmud Al Noor Tareq, reports bdnews24.com.
"The nation has lost a man of deeds and Awami League has lost a leader of action," her deputy press secretary Mahbubul Haque Shakil quoted her as saying at the death of Ahmad.
Ahmad died at a hospital in Dhaka Thursday night.
In another condolence message, Hasina, now on a five-day tour in Saudi Arabia, expressed deep shock at the untimely death of Tareq, also vice-president of district Awami League and former president of Mymensingh District Lawyers' Association, Shakil told the news agency Friday.
Tareq died at the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital Thursday night of heart disease.
He is survived by a son and a daughter.
