PM condoles Kazi Golam Rasul\\\'s death

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday expressed profound shock at the death of former District and Sessions Judge of Dhaka Kazi Golam Rasul. PM's Press Secretary AKM Shameem Chowdhuri said the Prime Minister in her condolence message recalled the contributions of Golam Rasul to the judiciary. She prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her deep sympathy to the bereaved family members. Rasul, who had awarded capital punishment to 15 accused, all former army officers, with the indictment of 20 accused in 1998 in the Bangabandhu Murder Case, died at United Hospital in the city this (Thursday) morning, according to a news agency.
