PM for all out efforts to rescue Pinak-6

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked all concerned to exert all out efforts to rescue the passenger vessel Pinak-6.
The vessel capsized at Lauhajong channel of the Padma Monday morning with about 250 passengers on its way from Kewrakandi of Madaripur district to Mawa Ghat.
Sheikh Hasina asked Bangladesh Army, Navy, RAB, Coast Guard, Fire Brigade and BIWTA for immediate action to this end, PM's special assistant Mahbubul Haque Shakil said, according to a news agency.
The Prime Minister also asked the local administration to take all necessary steps to facilitate smooth rescue operation, he said.
Salvage ship Rustam has already been sent for taking part in the rescue operation, he said adding the rescue drive is being conducted with highest priority.
