PM for attaining cent per cent literacy rate

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina Monday called upon all to work together to attain cent per cent literacy rate and turn every citizen of the country into a human resource, reports BSS.
The PM made the call in a message on the eve of International Literacy Day-2015 to be observed across the world, including Bangladesh, today (Tuesday).
"Well-educated and skilled human resources are needed for institutionalisation of democracy and overall development of the country," said the PM.
The present government is implementing various programmes to provide job-oriented education to the illiterate people for building them as human resources, she added.
