PM for BD-Slovenia institutional arrangements to explore untapped potentials
Tuesday, 11 August 2015
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has put emphasis on institutional arrangements between Bangladesh and Slovenia to explore untapped potentials for further boosting of trade and economic relations. "The two countries should have institutional arrangements like regular exchange of trade and investment and chamber delegations to explore untapped potentials for further growth of trade and economic ties," she said. The Prime Minister expressed this view when Slovenia’s non-resident Ambassador to Bangladesh Darja Bavdaz Kuret paid a farewell call on her at her office at the National Economic Council building at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Tuesday morning. After the meeting, PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters. Laying emphasis on strengthening the people-to-people contact between the two countries, the PM Hasina also said Bangladesh and Slovenia should start mutual cooperation in various fields for the benefits of the two peoples. She urged the Slovenian government to import different world class products from Bangladesh for further boosting trade and commerce between the two countries, according to a news agency.
