PM for building youths as skilled workforce

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has put emphasis on building the country’s youth community as a skilled workforce to remove unemployment problem and meet the global labour demand. “Our youth force is capable of fulfilling the huge labour demand of the world. If they are groomed as skilled workforce, the unemployment problem in the country would be removed side by side with boosting inward remittance flow,” she said. “Bangladesh’s population would then not remain as curse, rather as blessings for the country,” the Prime Minister said while addressing the third meeting of the National Skill Development Council (NSDC) on Thursday. Chaired by Sheikh Hasina, the meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office, according to BSS.
