PM for country\\\'s economic emancipation

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina has called for united efforts at making the country economically self-reliant in fulfilling the dream of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, reports UNB.
She made the appeal on Saturday while delivering her speech at a seminar titled 'Speech of March 7: The best speech of Liberation in the history of the world'.
Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust organised the programme at Bangladesh Krishibid Institution auditorium.
Vice-Chancellor of Premier University Prof Anupam Sen delivered the keynote paper. Writer Selina Hossain and director of Bangabandhu Institute of Liberation War and Bangladesh Studies of Bangabandhu Science and Technology University Shahidul Islam discussed on the paper.
Member secretary of Memorial Trust Sheikh Hafizur Rahman delivered the welcome speech.
Sheikh Hasina said that the economic emancipation of the country will fulfill the dream of the father of the nation Bangabandhu as mentioned in his historic March 7 speech in 1971.
"We have to go forward, we have to attain the economic emancipation," she said.
She said that the country still has to attain the economic emancipation and the present government is working hard to this end.
"We could not attain the economic emancipation till now which is our main target," she said.
