PM for timely AL national council

Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina laid emphasis on Friday on holding the national council of her party on time and asked leaders to prepare a draft on the overall activities to this end. Sheikh Hasina also directed the leaders of her party to complete the remaining district conferences and form new committees there to hold the national council of the traditional party on time. The Awami League chief gave the directives at her Dhanmondi political office in the city on Thursday afternoon. This was her first visit to the Dhanmondi office after assuming office through the January 5 election.-BSS
