PM gives financial assistance to five ailing personalities

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina distributed cheques of financial assistance among five ailing personalities Wednesday in the field of literature, art and culture as well as to an organisation working with autistic and physically challenged persons in Manikganj, reports UNB.
The PM handed over the cheques of financial assistance at her official residence Ganabhaban in the evening among the recipient ailing personalities including poet Nirmalendu Goon.
She also handed over a cheque to Naznin Begum Eva, chairman of Rehabilitation Nibas for the Autistic and Physically Challenged Persons, working in Manikganj.
Hasina gave cheques of Tk 2.0 million each to poet Nirmolendu Goon, Netrakona; Shahina Sikder Banasri, Shekhertek of Adabor in Dhaka; Amirunnesa Khanam Rani Sarker, Mohammadia Housing Society Ltd, Dhaka; and Lainun Nahar Mala, Agargaon, Dhaka; and Tk 2.5 million to Dil Ara Khanam, North Road, Bhuter Gali, Dhaka.
