PM holds press conference today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a press conference today (Saturday morning) to brief the media about the outcomes of her recent London tour. The PM's press conference will be held at 11:30 am at her official Ganobhaban residence. Sheikh Hasina visited the UK on July 21-23 at the invitation of her British counterpart David Cameron and Unicef Executive Director Anthony Lake. This was the first visit of Hasina to Europe after the January 5 election. During the tour, Sheikh Hasina held talks with British Prime Minister David Cameron at 10 Downing Street and attended the first ever Girl Summit, 2014 apart from attending other programmes. — UNB
