PM lays foundation stone of Info Bhaban in city tomorrow

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lay the foundation stone of Information Bhaban on the Circuit House Road in the city tomorrow (Thursday). The 16-storey building on 38 acres of land will have offices of three directorates under the Information Ministry. The project will help bridge the gap between the government and the people of the country, said a PID handout.  Once constructed, it will be a place of gathering for researchers, readers, and film lovers, information officers, mass media people.  It will be constructed on 38 acres of land at an estimated cost of Tk 600 million (60 croe).    — UNB
