PM leaves for Italy

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for Italy on Wednesday morning on a 4-day visit to attend the 10th summit of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), to be held in Milan. A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage, depart Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) International Airport in Kurmitola around 10:00am. The Biman flight will land at Milan’s Malpensa International Airport around 3:50pm (Italy time). The Prime Minister will drive to Carlton Hotel Baglioni where she will be staying during her tour. The ASEM Summit, to be chaired by the President of the European Council (EC) and hosted by the Government of Italy, will be held in the Italian city on October 16-17, according to private TV channel.
