PM leaves Kathmandu for home

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Kathmandu for home on Friday morning after attending the 18th Saarc Summit held in the Nepalese capital on Nov 26-27. A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage took off from Tribhuvan International Airport at 10:50am (Nepal standard time). Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal Prakash Man Singh and Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal Mashfee Binte Shams saw the Prime Minister off at the airport. The Bangladesh PM was also given a guard of honour at the airport. Hasina is expected to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport in Dhaka around 12:20pm, according to a news agency.
