PM likely to be chief guest at Super Cup final

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to be the chief guest at the country's biggest-ever crore-taka Citycell Super Cup Football final next Friday (Mar 27) at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city, reports UNB.
A high-level delegation of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), led by its president and legendary footballer Kazi M Salahuddin, met the premier at Dhanmondi office of Awami League President Saturday evening and invited her to grace the gala soccer ceremony as the chief guest.
Prime Minister Hasina initially accepted their invitation. "The final decision in this regard will be informed soon," her party office said.
The BFF delegation included its senior vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedi, vice- president Kazi Nabil Ahmed and member-cum-tournament committee chairman Harun-ur Rashid.
