PM meets people from various walks of life

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday morning hosted a reception on Holy Eid-ul-Azha at Ganobhaban in the city. People from various walks of life attended the reception at Ganobhaban to exchange Eid greetings with the Prime Minister. Sheikh Hasina, also the President of Bangladesh Awami League (AL), greeted the visitors and exchanged pleasantries with them. Central leaders of AL greeted their chief at her official residence after 9:30am. Members of her advisory committee, leaders of affiliated bodies, members of parliament, student leders, journalists and people from various professions then exchanged greetings with the prime minister. Diplomats and judges were also present. Women and children who joined the reception presented bouquets to the premier. The reception ended at 12 noon, according to a news agency.
