PM opens Sheikh Kamal Int\\\'l Cricket Stadium today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to go on a visit to Cox's Bazar today (Sunday) to inaugurate a newly-constructed cricket stadium of international standard in the tourist town. With the capacity of 100000 people, the world class cricket venue has been named Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, after Sheikh Kamal, eldest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Kamal was assassinated on August 15, 1975 along with his other family members. — UNB
