PM pays homage to Bangabandhu on historic Mar 7

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina Wednesday paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi in the city on the occasion of the historic March 7, reports BSS.
She first laid a wreath on the portrait of Bangabandhu as the PM. After placing the wreath, she stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of respect to the memory of Bangabandhu, the architect of the independence.
Flanked by central leaders of the party, Sheikh Hasina, also the president of Bangladesh Awami League, placed another wreath at the portrait of the Father of the Nation on behalf of her party.
