PM places wreath at Bangabandhu's mazar

TUNGIPARA (Gopalganj), Sept 19 (BSS): Prime Minister (PM) and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina placed wreath at the mazar of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at 9.45 am Saturday.
She offered fateha and munazat seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other family members who were brutally killed on the fateful night of August 15, 1975.
The PM also sought doa for the peace and prosperity of the country.
Her younger sister Sheikh Rehana, Commerce Minister Faruq Khan, Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan, Principal Secretary MA Karim, ambassador M Zaiuddin, Press Secretary to the PM Abul Kalam Azad, former chairman of Red Crescent Society Sheikh Kabir Hosain and leaders of Gopalganj District Awami League and front organisations were also present.
