PM provides Tk 9.0m to late Kamal Uddin's ailing children

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina gave on Monday financial assistance of Tk 9.0 million (90 lakh) to two ailing sons and a daughter of late Kamal Uddin Ahmed, a hostile witness of the historic Agartala Conspiracy Case, reports UNB.
Qamrul Hasan Ahmed and Khairul Hasan Ahmed, sons of Kamal Uddin and his (Kamal) daughter Meher Nini Kamal received cheques for the amount from the Prime Minister at her office, PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told reporters.
Kamal Uddin, the first Naval Adviser of Bangladesh, became a victim of massive torture and suffered in jail during Ziaur Rahman's rule.
