The Prime Minister was received by party leader Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury and the three armed forces' chiefs as her Biman Bangladesh flight touched down at the Zia International Airport around 2:30pm.

They met in the morning at the Jeddah International Airport on way of Sheikh Hasina's departure for Dhaka after a five-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, her first trip abroad after assuming the office of premier.
"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the IDB president discussed various issues of trade and business, economy and development," PM's press secretary Abul Kalam Azad said.
The IDB chief assured the PM of providing necessary assistance for development of the country.
Hasina had left for Riyadh on Apr. 20 at the invitation of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.
Foreign Minister Dipu Moni and state minister Hasan Mahmud, overseas employment minister Khandker Musharraf Hossain and state minister Monnuzan Sufian, Hasina's sister Sheikh Rehana and son Sajib Wazed Joy accompanied her.
The Prime Minister met with the Saudi King on Apr 21. He assured her of solving the problems of some two million Bangladeshi workers in the oil-rich country and allowing more Bangladeshi workers into the kingdom.
Hasina also exchanged views with Bangladeshi expatriates and performed Umrah in Mecca.
