PM returns home Thursday

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returns home Thursday morning after winding up her three-day official visit to the United Kingdom to attend the first-ever Girl Summit. The Bangladesh Premier is visiting the UK at the invitation of her British counterpart David Cameron and UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake. A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying Sheikh Hasina and members of her entourage is scheduled to take off from Heathrow International Airport in London at 6.15 pm (London time). Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK Mijarul Quayes, UK High Commissioner in Dhaka Robert Gibson and DFID Director on International Affairs Anthony Smith will see the Premier off at the airport, according to a news agency.
