Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina Friday sought more Singaporean investment in different sectors of Bangladesh including its Export Processing Zones (EPZs) under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP), according to BSS report from Australia Friday.
"The present government has created an investment-friendly atmosphere in the country by providing various incentive packages to the investors. You can invest in different sectors in a bigger way by exploiting these opportunities," she said.
The Prime Minister made the request during her meeting with her Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong at the Board Room of Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) on the sidelines of the 21st Commonwealth Heads of Governments Meeting (CHOGM).
Briefing journalists after the meeting, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad said the two Prime Ministers shared views and opinions on various development issues.
