PM shocked at Ayesha Foyez\\\'s demise

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday expressed deep shock at the death of Ayesha Foyez, mother of eminent author, dramatist, playwright and filmmaker late Humayun Ahmed. Ayesha Foyez died of old age complications at a city hospital this (Saturday) morning at the age of 84. She was also the wife of police official Faizur Rahman who embraced martyrdom during Bangladesh’s independence struggles in 1971. In a condolence message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her deep sympathy to the bereaved family members, according to private TV channels.
