PM shocked at Benazir\\\'s death

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday mourned the death of former Editor of The Daily Bhorer Kagoj Benazir Ahmed who passed away of a cardiac arrest in a city hospital on Tuesday morning. In a condolence message, the Prime Minister expressed profound shock at the demise of Benzir Ahmed, who was also the Executive Editor of ‘Muldhara’ and a senior journalist at weekly ‘Ekota’ and also associated with Novosti Press Agency for a long time. In her message, the premier said Bangladesh’s newspaper industry will recall late Benzir with deep respect as he played a pioneering role in creating a new trend in journalism in the country, according to private TV channels.
