PM shocked at Mannan Sardar\\\'s death

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday expressed profound shock at the death of Abdul Mannan Sardar, a former vice president of Awami League Dhaka city unit and one of the organisers of the War of Liberation. In a message of condolence, the Prime Minister said Mannan Sardar, an ardent follower of Bangabandhu, will be remembered by the nation forever for his valiant role in organising the Liberation War. Mannan Sardar also played a very praiseworthy role in organising Dhaka city unit of Awami League, she said. Sheikh Hasina prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members, according to BSS.
