PM slams UN, laments OIC, Arab League\\\'s silence

Criticising the United Nations for its failure to take effective steps against Israel aggression in Gaza, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wednesday lamented as the OIC and Arab League have failed to effectively protest the offensive, reports unb.
She came up with the criticisms when a four-member visiting women delegation of Iranian parliament, led by Fatemeh Rahbar, met her at the PM's official residence Ganabhaban in the evening.
PM's press secretary AKM Shameem Chowdhury briefed reporters after the meeting.
He said the cabinet in Bangladesh has already adopted a resolution denouncing and protesting the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.
