PM takes a dig at Dr Kamal again

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday swiped at Dr Kamal Hossain again for his stance against the uncontested winning of MPs in the last election saying that he also got elected unopposed once. “There’s one person who is against the uncontested win of MPs. He (Dr Kamal) was elected uncontested in 1970 in the seat which was vacated by Bangabandhu,” she said. The Prime Minister was replying to a question at a press conference about her recent China tour at her official residence Ganobhaban, according to a news agency.
