PM to attend Asia-Africa Summit in Jakarta

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the forthcoming Asia-Africa Summit to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 22-24, reports UNB
Sheikh Hasina will lead the Bangladesh delegation to the summit. Country leaders participating in the Asia Africa Conference 60th Anniversary Commemoration (AACC) events already started reaching Jakarta on Sunday.
Some 34 heads of state and government, as well as representatives from 77 countries have confirmed their attendance at the conference.
Among the heads of state and government who are confirmed to attend it include those of Brunei Darussalam, China, Iran, Jordan, Madagascar, Malawi and Swaziland, according to the Foreign Ministry.
Besides, the Asian-African Business Summit will be held on April 21-22 in Jakarta, as a side event.
