PM to inaugurate specialised hospital in Khulna soon

KHULNA, Sept 24 (BSS): Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the newly built Shaheed Sheikh Naser Specialized Hospital here soon.
State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnuzan Sufian said this at a post Eid-ul-Fitr exchange of views session at the local press club yesterday.
Khulna district unit AL president and general secretary respectively Sheikh Harun-ur-Rashid and S M Mostafa Rashidi Suja, Molla Jalal Uddin Ahmed MP and city unit AL general secretary Mizanur Rahman Mizan, among others, took part in the session.
Jatiya Party district unit president Shafiqul Islam Madhu, city unit general secretary Molla Majibur Rahman, JSD city unit president Rafiqul Haque Khokon, Noor Afroz Ali MP and treasurer of Khulna University Professor Fakir Abu Hossain, among others, were present on the occasion.
During the discussion, Monnuzan said the present government would also reopen the airport and the industrial units, which were closed by the past BNP-Jamaat alliance government here.
"The Padma Bridge will be a milestone in the development of this region," she said adding that the whole southern part of Bangladesh would wear a new look after construction of this bridge in near future.
She, however, urged the journalists to write objective news and make constructive criticism about the government's activities.
