PM to inaugurate the fair

The 15th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) 2010, the biggest annual business carnival in the country, begins today (Friday).
Organised jointly by the Ministry of Commerce and Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), the month-long event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Agargaon, the organisers said.
Participants from the USA, Thailand, China, Turkey, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Iran, South Korea and Hong Kong will showcase a wide range of their products in 28 pavilions, mini-pavilions and stalls, the EPB office announced.
Entry tickets will cost Tk 15 each for adults and Tk 10 each for children.
The fair this year will have seven special pavilions, five premier pavilions, 60 general pavilions, four premier mini-pavilions, 45 general mini-pavilions, 35 premier stalls, 308 general stalls, 12 restaurants and 10 drinks kiosks.
