PM to visit Japan May 25-28

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will go to Japan on a four-day visit from May 25-28, which is expected to further bolster Bangladesh-Japan relations in all areas of co-operation, says the Foreign Ministry here on Thursday. During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. In addition, Hasina is scheduled to address a business seminar with a view to attracting foreign direct investment in Bangladesh and promoting bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Japan. She will also address the students of Waseda University and pay a courtesy call on the Emperor of Japan. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Japan at the invitation of her Japanese counterpart, according to UNB.
