PM urges Bahrain to take more manpower from Bangladesh IMG

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Thursday urged the Bahranian authorities to recruit more manpower from Bangladesh, reports BSS. She made the call when the visiting Bahraini Foreign Minister, Sheikh Khaled Bin Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, made a courtesy call on her at the Prime Minister's office. During the meeting, they discussed different bilateral issues, particularly export of manpower to Bahrain, said Prime Minister's Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad while briefing the press. Development of trade, economy and investment came up for discussion during the meeting. The Bahraini minister praised the leadership of Sheikh Hasina and said she is not only the leader of Bangladesh, but also the leader of the Muslim Ummah. "We feel proud of you," he was quoted as saying. Sheikh Hasina proposed to Bahrain to import pharmaceuticals, ceramic products, leather goods and other products from Bangladesh.
