PM visits Paytm stall at G-20 Summit

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the stall of Paytm, the technology partner of mobile financial service provider Nagad, during her participation in the G-20 Summit in New Delhi on Saturday, reports UNB.
She looked over Paytm and learned about its UPI system.
At that time, Paytm officials apprised the prime minister of how important the contribution of mobile financial transactions is to uplift Bangladesh's economy as well as build a cashless society, according to a press release.
India's Paytm is currently providing technical support to Nagad Ltd with the intent of making digital transactions more secure for customers, it said.
