PM\\\'s digital Eid greetings

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been conveying her greetings on the occasion of the Holy Eid-ul-Fitr to the countrymen via their mobile phones through SMS since Sunday midnight. The premier is greeting the people of the country through digital system ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest ritual festival of Muslims across the world, sources at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) have said. They said many people throughout the country have received the PMO’s SMS that conveyed the Eid greetings from 12.00am Sunday night to Monday evening. In her SMS Sheikh Hasina has written, ‘Eid Mubarak. Eid apnar o apnar paribare shanti o samriddhi boye anuk. Allah’r kase a doa kori. Khoda Hafez. Joi Bangla, Joi Bangabandhu.’ It is learnt that people expressed their satisfactions after receiving the PMO’s Eid message. Some reciprocated by sending Eid felicitations to the PMO. Sheikh Hasina also reportedly spoke with some citizens directly through mobile phone on Monday evening to convey her Eid greetings, according to a news agency.
