Poet Jibanananda\\\'s death anniv observed

The 61st death anniversary of poet Jibanananda Das is being observed in the country through various programmes today (Wednesday). Oct 22). Different organisations, including literary and cultural ones, chalked out various programmes to mark October 22, the day poet Jabanananda passed away 60 years ago. Some 150 books of the poet are on display in the exhibition that started on Oct 18 and will end on Oct 30. A discussion will be held at the museum on the concluding day. More programmes are being observed in the poet’s home district Barisal, Rangpur Begum Rokeya University and other places, according to a news agency.
