Pohela Boishakh celebrated at CIS

Canadian International School (CIS) arranged the 10th year of celebration of Pohela Boishakh programme on its Gulshan campus in the city recently, said a press release.
The students of CIS welcomed the Bangla new year with the performance of folk songs, dance and recitation of poems.
The student started their choral performance with Tagore song 'Gram Chara oi Ranga Matir Poth'. The CIS also arranged Boishakhi traditional foods stalls.
Muhammad Kamal Uddin, chairman and Jeffery Push, principal of CIS attended the function.
