Police Athletic Club beat Barnak Samaj by 3-1 goals in a match of the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League at Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
Rana Das, Ziaur Rahman and Hamidur Rahman struck one goal each for the winners while Ranjon Banik scored the consolation goal for the losers.
In another match, Shantinagar Sporting Club defeated Combined Sporting Club by 2-1 goals.
Marjan scored two goals for Shantinagar SC while Hasan netted the consolation goal for Combined SC.
On Sunday matches, Bachelors SC will meet Shishukisore Sangha at 2:15pm while Mukta Bihanga Tarun Sangha will take on Farashganj SC at 4:00 pm at the same venue.
